Seems we need a Winter Interlude … a moment to enjoy the incredible beauty of 10 inches of freshly-fallen snow. (I think this is where I admit I am Minnesota born-and-raised.) Rather like the Post Office motto:
Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays the feathers and the fuzz from eating … and fighting.

We saw the “Boys in Red” Bathe-off — the male Summer Tanager and Northern Cardinal. In this video, their female counterparts show that the Boys Have Nothing Over the Girls. It’s true — the female Tanager is just as cheeky as her beau and the female Cardinal is having none of it!
